Salim Adofo Campaign

For the Salim Adofo campaign, I played a dual role as the Social Media Designer and Deputy Communications Director, contributing to his bids for Commissioner and DC Council Member in Ward 8. Since 2023, I have been an integral part of three campaign cycles, leading a team of four dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Social Media Management:
Developed and managed all social media channels, crafting engaging graphics and strategic content to build and maintain a robust online presence.
• Graphic Design & Branding:
Designed comprehensive print materials, digital graphics, and marketing collateral. This included creating cohesive brand guidelines that were consistently applied across all campaign assets—from social media posts to print advertisements.
• Campaign Strategy:
Collaborated on the development of targeted social media campaigns, ensuring each piece of content resonated with the electorate while adhering to the overall campaign message.
• Crisis and Ad Hoc Communications:
Provided immediate support in crafting press releases, emergency statements, and other critical communications, enabling the campaign to respond quickly to emerging issues.
• Team Leadership:
Led a creative team to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines, ensuring a unified and compelling visual identity throughout the campaign.
